Make Your Wedding So Special
No matter what material you choose for your wedding band, it’s important to find a style that complements
the other pieces in your jewelry collection. If you’re looking for matching accessories,
There’s an interesting mix of feelings that come with planning for your own wedding. On one hand, there’s a tangible excitement about the life-changing event. Then there’s the anxiety and stress that comes from the wish to see everything work out perfectly. There are several ways to deal with this. First, you can start planning early enough. Secondly, you can get a team to help you with the planning details. Also, you can choose to hire an expert to handle all the hard work for you! Sounds like a plan, right? But before you jump right into it, why should you consider working with a wedding planner?
THEY ARE EXPERTS
One of the biggest reasons why a wedding planner is a great resource is their experience. For you, it may be your first time to be fully immersed in the details. But a wedding planner knows everything like the back of their hands. And no, for them, planning a wedding is not drudgery, its a delight
THEY ARE PROBLEM SOLVERS
Their job is a continuous process of handling and solving all sorts of problems. Wedding planners will think about the possibility of something going wrong and preventing it ahead of time. They have got your back and will guide you along the way.
GREAT WITH ADVICE
When picturing your ideal wedding, a million ideas come to mind – usually unconnected ideas. With access to platforms like Pinterest, Instagram, and wedding blogs, we see a world of opportunities and it makes it more difficult to know what we want and where to start.
A wedding planner will help you bring the wedding of your dreams to life, by getting to know you, capturing your vision, and putting every piece together in perfect harmony. Getting your questions answered by these professionals will provide you with peace of mind. And that is the key to success. Read more at Luisquintana Studio
THEY HAVE NETWORKS
Another reason why working with a wedding planner is a good idea is that you get more than one person on your team. Wedding planners know other service providers, so you don’t have to go around shopping for each one separately. And if you’re lucky, you may land some good discounts.
Double Down on Vendor Discounts
For Megan and Clint Rorie, hiring Simply XO for their upcoming vow renewal a year after their micro-nuptials was a no-brainer. Not only did having a team of professionals give Megan some extra support as her husband tours for work, but it also helped curb price-gouging, which was something the bride knew was inevitable.
“Most vendors we worked with had between a 10 to 15 percent discount for us because we were using this planner,” Megan explains. “This doesn’t feel like much, but when you’re booking things that are thousands of dollars, it really adds up.” Read more at Brides
THEY’LL COVER YOUR WEDDING DAY
The main joy killer on your wedding day must be the anxious feelings that turn your tummy into a hole full of butterflies. Your concern for the details could very easily steal the color from your face too. But with a wedding planner, you’ll be sure all you wanted to see is taken care of.
For A Relaxed Mind On Your Wedding Day
Knowing that you’re not stressing friends and family by checking to see that every detail is under control is something to keep your mind at peace.
Your wedding vendors don’t have to come to you for inquiries and other essential questions because your wedding coordinator will handle them all.
● For A Smooth Wedding Morning
Most brides experience more anxiety than excitement on the mornings of their wedding days, mainly because they’re still planning on their big day.
A wedding coordinator helps avert this anxiety. Because you know there’s an able hand overseeing your wedding day timeline, you’ll sail through your morning and be in excellent spirit for your ceremony. Read more at Orchard View

Designing a wedding card can be a fairly easy process compared to choosing the printing style. Your choice of printing technique depends on the type of paper you have chosen. But then, what options of printing techniques for your invitation cards do you have?
Not many people know about printing, most minds go blank. Not to worry, you are not alone in that. Here are a few common printing techniques to choose from;
High-end techniques of engraving add a hint of luxury to your wedding invitation cards. The letters and images appear raised on the front and indented on the back because of a metal plate used.
Engraving is the process which involves raising the text fonts on the paper, it usually done on the paper from back side. The text is etched on the plate which is generally made of copper or some other alloys using a negative and then the paper is pressed between the weights and the plate. This sandwich technique creates letters and other design to be engraved on the sheet. This is classic way of making wedding invitations and it is fairly a speedy process which doesn’t involve a lot of time for completion of order, once the block is made for the desired text to be printed on the paper the printer can finish this in a week time. This is also a costly technique but the end result comes out a very beautiful. This technique becomes a little effective when there is to print a lot of wedding cards. It is costly due to the custom-made metallic plate that is used for printing the card.
This is a popular technique where ink is fused with raisin powder using heat. It can give a metallic feel if you would want without adding foil to it.
Next up is UV, a newer technology well suited for acrylic and thermographic printing. The effects of these heat-based methods are the same: a slight plasticine shine to raised lettering for plays on light. Montgomery’s couples love the flexibility of thermography, as it’s great for all types of paper and is available in a tremendous range of colors, including metallic hues. “If you want a metallic aesthetic but don’t want to pay for foil, this is an excellent alternative,” she suggests. “Lettering comes out crisp, but I would recommend combining this with flat printing if you want to incorporate line drawings, like an outline of the church, since fine details may become lost with the thickness of the ink.” Read more from Brides
It is great for many types of paper thus making it a very commonly used technique.
With this type of printing, one stamps ink into a soft cotton paper so that the ink is absorbed. It gives a soft romantic feel making it one of the most loved techniques by couples.
Letterpress printing is a luxurious printing method that leaves a physical impression in the paper. First, a plate is made of your design. Then, your ink color of choice is rolled onto the plate by an antique letterpress machine. Finally, the machine presses the plate into your paper leaving the ink impression behind.
Letterpress is great for line art like a venue illustration or vintage monogram!
The drawback to letterpress is that it is much more expensive than digital printing. Each ink color used has to have its own plate, and the plates can be pretty pricey.
By the way, this is my favorite printing method! The pillowy impression is absolutely stunning to see and feel. The process is centuries old. So, you can guarantee it’s not going to go out of style! Read more from Abundant wedding invitations
It usually gives a vintage vibe to the cards because of the indented edges.

When you talk about weddings, it is not easy to avoid talking about flowers. They create beauty and a romantic ambiance for any wedding. This means that a wedding florist is one important person at your wedding. You should be able to choose one that is experienced, creative, and that will work with your budget perfectly.
As you choose and narrow down which florist to work with, you need to have some thoughts and questions in mind to ask the florist. Here are three informative questions to ask;
DO YOU HAVE A PORTFOLIO I CAN VIEW?
Pictures are more than a thousand words, Your florist should be able to provide you with pictures of past work. From this, you can get a sense of their aesthetic and sense of style. Be sure to check out the florist’s best work, to have an idea of what they can deliver on your wedding day.
The best way to get an accurate idea of their specific style or variety of work is by looking through their portfolio. A florist’s portfolio will include photos (and sometimes information) from previous events they’ve done. In most cases, this will be other weddings and similarly-sized events. More often than not, you can find a digital version of a florist’s portfolio on their website. However, asking to view their work in person provides them with the opportunity to show you things that aren’t online and may be of specific interest to you. When looking through a portfolio, take your time. Pay attention to the details and ask questions regarding the work you’re seeing and how it might translate in your wedding. Read more from Zola
If they can provide you with a digital portfolio from their website then that can be even better.
WHAT FLOWERS DO YOU RECOMMEND FOR OUR WEDDING?
If you have no idea what type of flowers to go with, worry not. That is why you are seeking the advice of a specialist, ask all the flower questions you want. From the style and theme of your wedding, they should be able to point you towards the perfect flowers for your wedding.
Talented florists can accommodate any and all floral ideas. However, Richard recommends asking them for their overall floral design recommendations for your wedding based on the venue, season, theme and wedding color scheme. Their answer will help you better understand their level of expertise and figure out if you’re both on the same page.
This is the part where you can break out your Pinterest board and show examples of specific designs you’d like to recreate. “After sharing your vision with your florist, allow them to provide their professional insight on achieving the most remarkable result,” Richard says. “Be sure to express your expectations, understand theirs of you, and trust them as the professional you sought out to bring your vision to life.” Read more from the knot
You can also ask about other decor stuff that can go well with the flowers, for instance, types of vases and table linens.
HOW MUCH SHOULD WE BUDGET FOR FLOWERS?
As you plan your wedding, you most probably have set aside some money for flowers. There are instances however where you have no idea how much to budget for your flowers. This is something to ask your florist. A good florist should give you a rough estimate for how much to set aside.
Before you set a floral budget, consider how important flowers are to your big day. This will determine how much you want to spend. Florals tend to feature in most of your photographs and they help to tie in your colour scheme and styling. Flowers also set the scene for your guests. I would recommend allowing for around 10% of your wedding budget but it really is a very personal choice.
There is often a common misconception that flowers are expensive. However, there is a huge amount of time that goes into the preparation side of being a florist. Consider the consultations, emails, proposal, flower order, flower conditioning, designing and the making of the arrangements. Read more from Florish and Grace
What you are looking for is a florist who can work within your budget as well so that you do not overspend on flowers.

When it comes to wedding bands, there are a lot of options to choose from. From plain gold bands to intricate diamond bands, there’s something for everyone. So what are the different types of wedding bands available? Here’s a breakdown of the most popular styles.
If you’re not sure which type of wedding band is right for you, don’t worry – this post can help you on your journey to find the perfect ring.
Considering ha fact that a wedding band should last, you need to pick durable and high-quality material. If you have been thinking of having a design that’s unique, don’t worry, you can get exactly what you are looking for.
Once you decide to buy a wedding band, you should choose the one made of harder metals, such as pricy platinum, traditional yellow gold, extravagant rose gold, elegant white gold, or timeless silver.
Whichever option you choose, make sure that the band matches your engagement ring. The combination of the gold diamond ring and silver wedding band can look a bit kitschy.
Earlier, couples tried to find the bride and groom rings that match. However, modern men often choose fashionable and durable bands made of tungsten, titanium, palladium, or stainless steel.
Nowadays, couples often pick out bands made of unusual materials, such as titanium carbide (super strong ceramic) and corrosion-resistant zirconium. Believe it or not, the new trend is to have wedding bands made of wood. They look pretty elegant since the piece of wood is integrated into the metal frame. Read more at Something Borrowed
MATERIAL AND ACCENTS
Beyond durability, you may also make your choice considering the color of the material and how that plays out with the rest of the jewelry. Here’s how:
The type of wedding ring metal you choose is just as important as any other feature of your wedding ring. The metal colour can transform the accents in the jewellery.
Platinum: a white metal and is one of the rarer metals, which really accentuates the sparkle of your diamond. It’s also naturally hypoallergenic, which is great for those with sensitive skin.
Classic yellow gold: is a seemingly more traditional choice, and suited for those who want a more blingy ring.
White gold: seems to be the rage in recent times, and is a really elegant style.
Rose gold: is considered a charming and romantic colour due to its soft warm tones.
